Herald of the Prince

In her own words

"Why I would only be too happy to tell you about me. That is, if you’re sure you want to hear it. My past hasn’t exactly been a whirlwind of excitement. You’re sure? Very well. I haven’t been Kindred long, at least not by Elder standards. This is my second 'stint' if you like in San Antonio, having begun my Requiem here sixty years ago - I spent a few years in Florida with my sire, Gabrielle. I was recently appointed as Herald of the Prince - that means I speak with her authority, but you shouldn't let that intimidate you. Well, not unless you have a reason to be intimidated! I also perform at least two nights a week at the Jubilee Club, singing. Oh, you ought to come and see me sometime!"

Known History

Kimberly Ravana is known to all the Kindred of the city as the Herald of the Prince - a post she was granted by Fernando de la Cruz, to the surprise of nobody, since Kim has been a fiercely loyal member of the Sanctified since she returned to San Antonio. Prior to departing for Florida, Kim was a relatively unknown neonate and was very reserved and introvert. She returned several years later with much more confidence, though her natural friendly demeanour had not changed.

Most Kindred feel comfortable around Kim, even with her position as Herald. Some Heralds are known to abuse their position and use the authority it grants to their own ends. Kimberly has never once done this; in fact she tries to very much downplay her role. Thus far she has been as loyal to the position of Prince with Karina as she was with De la Cruz, and many believe that she balances the conflict between the ruling Invictus and her own loyalties to the Lancea Sanctum better than anyone else could manage.

Kimberly Ravana stands at a petite 5’1”. Her honey-blond hair is cut to shoulder length and she often wears it down. She usually dresses casually but fashionably, with the notable exception of when she performs at the Jubilee, where she favours long, elegant dresses.

A neonate's opinion

"Kim's alright really. She might carry the Prince's voice, the Prince's commands...but she's very much her own person, and you kinda got to respect that, ya know? Hell of a singing voice on her too. Not sure how the Lancea feel about her being Karina's Herald, and especially De la Cruz, but so far nothing's come of it. Wouldn't surprise me if it all kicked off at some point though. You know Elders, they love to play their little political games."
